How To Include HTML Code Within A Blog Post

Including HTML code within a blog post can be frustrating - if you're not sure how to do it! If you try to simply put that code in your post, it will show the result. Obviously, what you want to do is to show that particular HTML code needed to GET the result.

Since I like to give blogging tips here I have run into this problem in the past. Sometimes I need to show my readers a certain code that they will need to use. I want to make it easy for them to just copy the HTML code and paste it where they need to.

What is needed is a separate place to put HTML code. The following box is the place to put any HTML code separately within a blog post:

How is that box made?

Below is the HTML Source code for making this box. Copy the HTML code showing in the box and use it whenever you need to show something separately. In this box you can also put text messages, as I did above. You can increase and decrease the box's width and length.

Viola! Done! Remember, you must do this in the "Edit HTML" mode.
